What Is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring peptide found in human plasma, saliva, and urine that binds strongly with copper ions. The complex is formed when the tripeptide GHK chelates copper(II) (Cu²⁺). This stable complex is biologically active and present in young human blood at higher levels than in older adults.
